With a passion for movement, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection, Anna Elise has been guiding students on their yoga journey for the past decade. Her workshops integrate yoga and mental health, holistic healing, and strategies to help individuals overcome mental blocks and step into their strongest, most confident selves.

 

Drawing from neuroscience and her Fundamentals of Neuroscience qualification from Harvard Ex, Anna

Elise incorporates the science of the nervous system into her teachings, empowering students to cultivate

resilience, balance, and self-awareness. Her TEDx talk on using the mind to calm and control the nervous system reflects her dedication to bridging the gap between science and holistic well-being.

About the Retreat

6-Day Yoga Retreat: Cortisol Detox & Emotional Renewal

This 6-day yoga retreat is designed to release stress, detox cortisol, and restore emotional and physical well-being through a combination of yoga, meditation, journaling, and therapeutic practices. The carefully curated schedule helps regulate the nervous system, promote deep relaxation, and support emotional healing.

Daily Structure & Key Activities:
  • Mornings:

    • Begin each day with a Morning Yoga Flow, designed to gently activate the body, boost circulation, and aid in cortisol regulation.

    • Followed by Journaling sessions targeting emotional detox and self-reflection, covering themes like intentions, emotional awareness, self-love, clarity, and forward planning.

  • Afternoons:

    • Engage in Ayurvedic Herb & Household Remedies Workshops, Emotional Expression through Art & Music, and Free Time for rest, nature walks, or silent reflection, all aimed at supporting the body's natural stress-relief processes.

    • A special Thermal Bath Excursion & Restorative Soak on Friday further aids in cortisol release and deep relaxation.

  • Evenings:

    • Wind down with Emotional Release Stretching, which helps release stored tension from the muscles and nervous system.

    • Enjoy a nutrient-rich dinner to support hormone balance.

    • Conclude each night with meditation practices, including breathwork, visualization, body scanning, and gratitude rituals, to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and encourage deep restorative sleep.​
